2026年3月13日（金）から4月5日（日）までK ART GALLERYにて、MERIYAS MIDORIの個展、『肉と骨』を開催いたします。
展示初日の3月13日はオープン時間を12:00-20:00に延長し、作家も在廊いたします。この機会にぜひお越しください。


-Artist Statement-
混沌とした時代だ。
何もしなければ、圧し潰されてしまう。
だからこそ、強く在らなければならないと思った。
自らの肉体を鍛えることと、
表現を鍛えることは、
私の中で同じ行為であり
作品もまた、力強く在ろうとした。
本展では生物が本来持つ肉体の強さやエネルギーをテーマに
新作を展示いたします。

-Artist Profile-
1989年生まれ、多摩美術大学グラフィックデザイン学科卒業。
広告制作会社のデザイナーを経て、2022年よりイラストレーター/アーティストとして活
動。
モノクロームの人物やモチーフで、繊細さと力強さを纏う独特な質感表現の作品を制作
している。

K ART GALLERY is pleased to present Flesh and Bone, a solo exhibition by MERIYAS MIDORI, from March 13 (Fri) to April 5 (Sun), 2026.
On the opening day, March 13, the gallery will extend its hours from 12:00PMto 8:00 PM, and the artist will be present at the gallery. We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition on this special occasion..

– Artist Statement –
We live in a chaotic era.
If we do nothing, we risk being crushed by it.
That is why I felt I must remain strong.
For me, training my body
and training my expression
are the same act.
My works, too, strive to embody strength.
This exhibition presents new works centered on the inherent physical strength and energy of living beings.

– Artist Profile –
MERIYAS MIDORI
Born in 1989. Graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University.
After working as a designer at an advertising production company, began working as an illustrator and artist in 2022.
Creates monochrome figures and motifs characterized by a unique texture that combines delicacy and strength.
