MITSUMUNE LEE 李 光宗
1991年中国湖南生まれ
2015年中央美術学院卒業(中国・北京)
2020年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程修了
2026年同大学院美術研究科博士後期課程修了
「気」をコンセプトに、オブジェや絵画を制作しています。

-Artist Statement-
私は空気感や気配といった「気」をコンセプトに、素材や技法にとらわれることなくオブジェや絵画などの
作品を制作しています。今回の初個展《Room》では、空白や断片、陰影などを取り入れた作品によって、
柔らかな雰囲気の中にある悲しみや寂しさ、そして小さな幸せを感じる風景を表現しました。
ご覧いただく方にも、作品の中にあるさまざまな「気」を、一緒に感じていただけたら幸いです。

- Artist Profile -
MITSUMUNE LEE
Born in Hunan, China, in 1991.
Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China, in 2015.
Completed the Master’s Program at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2020.
Completed the Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2026.
His practice explores the concept of “ki”—a subtle sense of atmosphere, presence, and energy—through objects and paintings.

-Artist Statement-
My work explores the concept of “ki”—a subtle sense of atmosphere and presence. Without limiting myself to specific materials or techniques, I create works ranging from objects to paintings.
In my first solo exhibition, Room, I incorporate elements such as empty spaces, fragments, light, and shadow to create scenes that express sadness and loneliness within a gentle atmosphere, as well as moments of quiet happiness.
I hope that viewers will also experience the various forms of “ki” present within these works.
