2024年11月1日（金）から 11月17日（日）、K Art Galleryにて、
Asuka Eo の個展、『PLAYROOM』を開催いたします。


-Artist Statement-
「遊び」はあらゆる人の記憶に存在する、学びと創作の礎です。とくに積み木やパズルといったプリミティブな玩具は、時代を越えて多くの人に親しまれてきました。
「PLAYROOM」は私が生まれ育った家の遊戯室の名前であり、同時に制作の過程でアイデアを自由に遊ばせる頭の中の空間も象徴しています。
遊びの記憶を振り返りながら、絵本を読むような感覚でご鑑賞いただければ幸いです。

-Artist Profile-
東京都出身・在住のイラストレーター。動植物をモチーフにしたモノトーンの作品を中心に、展示や壁画から、雑誌・書籍、Webメディア、広告のイラストまで、多岐にわたるメディアで制作。

Asuka Eo’s solo exhibition, "PLAYROOM," will be held at K Art Gallery from Friday, November 1, 2024, to Sunday, November 17, 2024.


-Artist Statement-
Playing is a fundamental element of learning and creativity, rooted in the memories we all share. Timeless toys, like building blocks and puzzles, have been cherished across generations.
“PLAYROOM” is not only the name of a room in my parents' house but also a symbol of the mental space where ideas can freely wander during the creative process.
I hope this work encourages you to reflect on your own memories of play and experience it as you would read a picture book.

-Artist Profile-
Tokyo-based illustrator specializing in monotone works featuring plants and animals. Creates a diverse array of projects, including exhibitions, murals, and illustrations for magazines, books, web media, advertising and more.

Gallery Hours: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
