村上 生太郎

2025年9月19日（金）から10月12日（日）までK ART GALLERYにて、村上 生太郎の個展、『あけぼの』を開催いたします。
展示初日の9月19日はオープン時間を12:00-20:00 に延長し、作家も在廊いたします。この機会にぜひお越しください。

視覚がもたらす心の躍動は、前を向いて歩むための力を与えてくれます。
新しい一日を告げる曙のように、誰かにとっての小さな光を描きたいと思いました。

村上 生太郎

略歴
1993年生まれ東京都出身の画家。2018年東京藝術大学美術学部デザイン科卒業。2020年同大学院美術研究科デザイン専攻描画装飾研究室修了。メトロ文化財団賞受賞。色と形、質感の心地良い調和をコンセプトに色鉛筆で絵画作品を制作する。2025年より東京藝術大学美術学部デザイン科 教育研究助手に着任。

We are pleased to announce the solo exhibition Akebono by Shotaro Murakami at K ART GALLERY, running from September 19 (Fri) through October 12 (Sun), 2025.
On the opening day, September 19 (Fri), the gallery will extend its hours from 12:00 to 20:00, with the artist present. We warmly invite you to take this opportunity to visit.

-Artist Statement-
The emotions stirred by what we see give us the strength to move forward.
Like the break of dawn that signals the beginning of a new day, I wanted to paint a small light that could illuminate someone’s path.

-Artist Profile-
Shotaro Murakami

Biography
Born in Tokyo in 1993. Painter. Graduated from the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018. Completed the Master’s Program in the Department of Design, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020 (Laboratory of Decorative Painting). Recipient of the Metro Cultural Foundation Award. He creates colored pencil paintings based on the concept of harmonious balance of color, form, and texture. From 2025, he will serve as Research Assistant at the Department of Design, Tokyo University of the Arts.
