江上 秋花

2025年10月17日（金）から11月9日（日）までK ART GALLERYにて、江上 秋花の個展、『あわい』を開催いたします。
展示初日の10月17日はオープン時間を12:00-20:00 に延長し、作家も在廊いたします。この機会にぜひお越しください。

-Artist Statement-
動物や植物が持つ、愛らしくも奇妙な姿に心惹かれます。
本展ではそんな彼らの姿と自身が持つ生き物へのイメージを重ね、どこにあるか分からない、でもどこかにあるかもしれない、夢と現実の間にひそむ生き物たちの世界を描きました。

-Artist Profile-
江上秋花
1993年東京都生まれ。2020年東京藝術大学大学院デザイン専攻描画装飾研究室修了。
自然物や生き物など、自分の中で心惹かれる物や情景から着想したドローイングを元に、染め、刺繍やニットなどのテキスタイル表現を用い制作を行う。平面的な色や形の組み合わせと、布や糸などの素材が融合した時に新たに生まれる表情を大切にしている。

We are pleased to announce Awai, a solo exhibition by Akika Egami, to be held at K ART GALLERY from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, November 9, 2025.
On the opening day, October 17, the gallery will extend its hours to 12:00–20:00, and the artist will be present. We warmly invite you to visit on this special occasion.

- Artist Statement -
I am fascinated by the charming yet peculiar forms of animals and plants. In this exhibition, I have overlapped these images with my own impressions of living creatures, depicting a world inhabited by beings that lie somewhere between dream and reality—uncertain of where they exist, yet perhaps existing somewhere.

- Artist Profile -
Akika Egami
Born in Tokyo in 1993. Completed the Master’s Program in Design (Laboratory of Mural Painting and Decorative Design) at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020.
Her practice begins with drawings inspired by natural objects, living creatures, and scenes that capture her heart. She develops these into textile-based works using dyeing, embroidery, knitting, and other techniques. By combining flat colors and forms with materials such as fabric and thread, she explores the new expressions that emerge from their fusion.
