心を惹かれる物や情景から着想したドローイングを元にテキスタイル表現を用いて制作。細かな手仕事からなる繊細さと、大胆なシルエットやハッとするような色遣いによる強さ、相反する表情が同居する事で新たに生まれる魅力を大切にしている。

Inspired by objects and scenes that captivate her, Akika Egami creates works using textile expressions based on her original drawings. She values the charm that emerges from the coexistence of contrasting elements: the delicacy of intricate craftsmanship paired with bold silhouettes and striking colors.
