Akari Uragami

東京都出身。主に自然物と染織による立体作品と絵画の制作を通して、生物として人間を捉え直し、再構築することで新たな角度から人間の姿や関わり方を認識することを試みている。近年は、渋谷PARCOエントランスでの立体展示（2021)、Viscera/Epiphora展(Compound YV, CA, USA 2021)、The Conran Shopとのコラボレーションおよび壁画制作(2022)、HYSTERIA KOLECTIVA展（matamoros 404, メキシコ, オアハカ 2023)、個展Local ritual (LAID BUG, 代官山 2023)など国内外で活動している。

Born in Tokyo. Through the production of sculptures and paintings, mainly of natural objects and dyed fabrics, he attempts to recapture and reconstruct human beings as living organisms, and to recognize the human figure and how we relate to it from a new angle. Recent exhibitions include a three-dimensional exhibition at the entrance of Shibuya PARCO (2021), Viscera/Epiphora (Compound YV, CA, USA 2021), collaboration with The Conran Shop and mural painting (2022), and HYSTERIA KOLECTIVA ( matamoros 404, Oaxaca, Mexico 2023), and a solo exhibition Local ritual (LAID BUG, Daikanyama 2023).
