岡路 貴理

2026年6月5日（金）から6月28日（日）までK ART GALLERYにて、岡路 貴理の個展、『wall / windows』を開催いたします。
展示初日の6月5日はオープン時間を12:00-20:00に延長し、作家も在廊いたします。この機会にぜひお越しください。


-Artist Statement-
岡路貴理はこれまで、窓ガラス、コンクリート壁、布といった、私たちの視線のあいだにあるものを描いてきた。透明でありながら、向こう側をそのまま見せるわけではないもの。かたく閉ざされていながら、光や時間の痕跡をとどめるもの。覆い、遮り、透かし、ときに像をゆがませるもの。
岡路の絵画では、そうした身近な表面が、風景を切り取るための枠ではなく、見ることそのものを考えるための場所として立ち上がる。

From Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, K ART GALLERY will present wall / windows, a solo exhibition by Killi Okaji.

On the opening day, Friday, June 5, the gallery hours will be extended from 12:00 to 20:00, and the artist will be present. We warmly invite you to visit on this occasion.

-Artist Statement-
Killi Okaji has long depicted materials that exist between our gaze and what lies beyond: window glass, concrete walls, and fabric.
They are transparent, yet they do not simply reveal the other side. They may appear solid and closed, yet they retain traces of light and time. They cover, obstruct, let things show through, and at times distort the image itself.
In Okaji’s paintings, these familiar surfaces are not simply frames through which a landscape is viewed. Instead, they emerge as places for considering the act of seeing itself.

Killi Okaji
Born in Tokyo in 1998.
2022: Graduation work acquired by Tokyo University of the Arts
2023: Recipient of the Ikuo Hirayama Scholarship
2025: Completed the Doctoral Program in Japanese Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts
Grand Prize, Tsukuba Prize for Painting
Excellence Award, Changting Gallery Exhibition 2025
Currently serves as an Education and Research Assistant at Tokyo University of the Arts.
